The Perch is part of my range of fish greeting cards which started as drawings in a sketchbook. Each fish is drawn in pen and ink and then scanned. I use Computer Aided design to develop the original drawing and create designs.
Originally the Brown Trout and Grayling images were a commission for a client of our fabric and wallpaper company. Our client wanted me to design a fabric with brown trout, grayling and fishing flies to hang in her beautiful thatch cottage in Hampshire. The result is Chalk Stream Fish a 100% linen fabric, printed in the UK. It is available in a variety of colour ways and can be coloured to order.
