#Our World is a linocut print, each print is hand printed and available in two colours. This is Summer Green, the second colour way is Lush Green. This hand printed linocut is an open edition with no limited numbers.

World Wildlife Fund will receive 20% of each print sale

I designed this print in response to the David Attenborough film, ‘Life on our Planet’ which was made with WWF_UK for Netflix. A donation of 20%  for each each print will go to  WWF_UK to raise funds for their campaigns. I am passionate about nature, the natural world and our environment. We must all act, small changes can make a huge difference. Imagine if we all made small positive changes the impact throughout the world would be immense.

The linocuts are drawn out in pencil the correct size, onto paper and then traced so that the image can be reversed. This is very important as otherwise if the image when printed will be back to front! I have made this mistake quite a few times when I first started making linocuts. I also write detailed notes overtime I print so that mistakes can be minimised. These are not kept in my sketchbook as they would be become lost amongst the drawings, but kept in A4/A5 notebooks and each printing session dated so I can easily find information.
